HOUSTON, March 31, 2010 - Administaff, Inc. (NYSE: ASF), a leading provider of human resources services for small and medium-sized businesses, today announced the winners of the Administaff $100,000 Business Sweepstakes. The first-place winner, The Chartres Lodging Group LLC, a California-based advisory and investment firm focused on the property management, asset management, renovation and development of lodging assets, will receive a $100,000 business grant from Administaff.
“Administaff continues to believe in the power and strength of American small business and the entrepreneurs who risk it all to follow their dreams,” said Jay E. Mincks, Administaff executive vice president of sales and marketing. “The Administaff $100,000 Business Sweepstakes is an example of how we’re helping small business owners fulfill those dreams, and reflects Administaff's daily mission of helping small and medium-sized businesses grow by providing them with the tools they need to succeed.”
“Winning the Administaff Sweepstakes comes as an overwhelming and timely blessing to the Chartres Lodging Group team. We are in the hotel business, which is to say we are at the front line of the suffering the global economic debacle has wrought onto the commercial property sector. Our team has never worked as hard for as little as they have over the last 29 months,” said Robert Kline, Chartres Lodging Group president and co-founder. “Upon receipt, we will immediately distribute funds to our employees providing some much needed relief. We will also make a contribution to our charitable foundation, No Reservations Giving, and we will establish an Employee Investment Acceleration Pool to assist our employees as our business recovers. We are extremely grateful to the entire Administaff team whose generosity has brought some much needed relief to the Chartres Lodging team.”
Administaff also announced second and third-place winners. InterDyn BMI, a Roseville, Minn. provider of solutions consulting, services and support for accounting and other business software and networking needs, is the $25,000 second-place winner. Planit, the $10,000 third-place winner, is a Baltimore-based marketing and communications agency providing advertising, design, direct mail, interactive, animation and public relations services across various industries.
Administaff received sweepstakes entries from small and medium-sized businesses in 45 states and the District of Columbia. The winners were randomly selected from all qualified entries.
